Belaria – Dynamic State

Published by Alessandro Violante on March 31, 2026

belaria-dynamic-stateThroughout the history of certain electronic music, often musicians have tried to describe with their music what the future could have sounded like, doing it in many different ways, from Kraftwerk to EBM and beyond.

Since its first release, Boost & Doubts, released in 2022 on Friendsome Records (the label of Friendsome collective, in which she’s active too), Belaria found its way of doing it through a mixture of electro, synthwave, EBM, italo body music and techno, always alternating songs having different styles, never bothering the listener. In this futuristic dimension, Belaria’s words sounded as if an algid cyborg pronounced inputs and outputs, contributing in making its music sound like music entirely conceived and played by machines.

With the following release, The Way She Vanishes, together with Olympe4000, its music focused more on the 4/4 club dimension, always using strong futuristic sounds, like those of Roland TB-303. In 2025, Belaria launched the label Binding System which, from its name, evokes an updated cyberpunk imaginary in which physical and gender boundaries don’t exist anymore.

On Binding System, after having released Acidulant – My Vision Of Space, including a remix by Belaria itself, the new release by the label owner, entitled Dynamic State, has been released on vinyl and digital on 16th January 2026. Here we find that same versatile approach we found in the Belaria previous releases, but here better developed and more mature.

Here we have an electroclash-influenced opener as Losing Control, the following EBM-influenced Body Movement, the futuristic techno output Mind Improvement with its EBM synthlines and the slower futuristic italo body music output Natural Chemical. The release is enriched by the lysergic 4/4 techno remix made by Vel on Losing Control and by the trance-like remix made by the Ritmo Fatale label owner Kendal for Mind Improvement.

The concept of Dynamic State is also emphasized by the videos used by Belaria, enriching the listening experience, in which, as said above, all old boundaries fall down, immersing ourselves in a world in which reality and virtuality are fully merged together.

We’ll see how the artist will develop its style in its future releases.
